Lily Bard stretches herself and goes home just before Christmas for her sister's wedding. Coming back home is sometimes easier than expected and at others harder than she can imagine.
The sudden death of a new mother causes changes in plans for the pre-wedding festivities. Lily then becomes involved in the mystery of a long ago missing child.
This installment deals more with Lily's history and background and makes her realize that Shakespeare is now home.
