No, it was not like the books, rich with details, it was a play and written as such. Of course that lets the imagination roll and fill in how the reader likes which can be even better. There is much made of paradox but the fact is when one thing changes all things change and a small event can affect a large event many years later.
Recommended for the true fan, not a casual reader.
