Jacob and Emma travel into new territories looking to save Miss Peregrine and her fellow ymbrynes from a fate worse than death. Luckily Jacob's peculiarity has appeared, he can control hallowgast, sometimes. From modern London to Devil's Acre, the worst of the worst come into play.
The third novel of Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children is darker than the first two with a constant reminder that bad things happen to good people and sometimes circumstances are way beyond your personal control. Well worth reading but if you are looking for a light hearted adventure this is not the book for you.
