Rebecca Brown returns to New Orleans where in the previous year she had befriended a ghost, helped to set her free and in the process a girl is killed by a falling stone in the cemetery. Needless to say she is not all that thrilled about returning but as with all teenage novels there is this boy....
Before she even leaves New York a ghost approaches her for help in New Orleans where he was killed. Upon arrival he appears to her again to extract a promise of help.
Several twist with the usual danger and rescue of a paranormal young teen book. A fun read that will really appeal to the middle school reader.
